French Mezzo-Soprano, Shana Moron-Caravel, has just finished her two years as a member of the Guildhall School Opera Programme under the tutelage of Robert Dean.


She began her studies in Paris Conservatoires whilst also studying History of Art and Archeology in Pantheon Sorbonne. She completed her Undergraduate degree with first class honours at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire where she studied with Sophie Grimmer and Andrew Matthews- Owen.

During her years in London, Shana has been a regular concert soloist, often performing in recitals curated by Nicky Spence and Dylan Brewly-Perez with Blackheath Halls Opera.


After covering the role of Gina in The Elixir of Love by Donizetti at the King’s Head Theatre in 2019, Shana won the 2020 Trinity Laban English Song prize competition, adjudicated by John Constable. In 2022, she travelled to Romania to perform as a soloist in her own recital at the Classix Festival. Shana’s recent performances this year include the role of Judith in Bluebeard’s castle by Bartek, performed in Barbican in April 2024 and the role of Ruggiero in Handel’s Alcina performed in Milton Court in June 2024.
